Description
The Countertop Water Filter System by Crystal Quest is dependable and built to last. It conveniently sits on the counter providing you with clean water on demand.  This water filtration system removes the impurities of tap water to offer great taste and pureness.  A quick and easy to use solution that is stylish, convenient, and effectively removes fluoride and many other contaminants from your tap water.

It works with all standard faucets and installs in just minutes without requiring any tools.  It includes a diverter valve so you are able to switch between filtered and unfiltered water.

Water travels through 7 stages of filtration:
  • In stages 1 and 7, water flows through pre and post one - micron filter pads (1 micron equals 1/25,000th of an inch), which remove suspended particles such as silt, sediment, cyst (Giardia, Cryptosporidium), sand, rust, dirt, and other undissolved matter.

  • In stage 2, water travels through fluoride removal resin containing synthetic Aluminum Oxide adsorbent media specifically designed to have a high affinity for Fluoride, Lead and Arsenic. It removes metals through a mixture of adsorption and chemical reaction with the media; therefore, the elimination is not reliant on ion exchange. It has uniform particle size, is physically stable and can be used over a wide pH range. Capacity: 2700 ppm Fluoride (Avg. 600 to 900 Gallons) .* As high as 6600 ppm F+ with effluent levels below 0.2 ppm from 10 ppm F+ feed.* Also effectively removes lead and arsenic.

  • In stages 3 and 5, water flows through a bed of media made of a special high-purity alloy blend of two dissimilar metals - copper and zinc (ERA-6500, ERA-9500). ERA-6500 and ERA-9500 are major advancements in water treatment technology that works on the electro-chemical and spontaneous-oxidation-reduction (Eagle Redox Alloy®) principles. Chlorine is instantaneously and almost inexhaustibly oxidized.

  • In stage 4, water flows through ion exchange resins, reducing heavy metals such as lead, copper, aluminum, and water hardness.

  • In stage 6, water flows through granulated activated carbon (GAC). GAC is universally recognized and widely used as an effective adsorbent for a wide variety of organic contaminants, such as chlorine (99.9%), chemicals linked to cancer (THM's, benzene) pesticides, herbicides, insecticides, volatile organic compounds (VOC's), PCB's, MTBE's and hundreds of other chemical contaminants that may be present in water causing bad taste and odors in your drinking water.
Product details:
  • Min Operating Pressure:  20 psi (pounds per sq. in.)
  • Max Operating Pressure:  60 psi (pounds per sq. in.)
  • Min Operating Temperature:  40 degrees F
  • Max Operating Temperature:  90 degrees F
  • Max Flow Rate:  0.3-0.5 gallons per minute
The Crystal Quest Countertop Water Filter System's unique design allows for a substantial amount of filtration media enabling more contact time with the water.  More contact time means better filtration.  It can be easily back washed .  Semi-annually back washing of the unit not only insures balanced filtration, it also reduces the potential for channeling.  This is a sealed, disposable unit and has no replacement cartridge.  Depending on water quality, it will need to be replaced after 18 months of average use, 12 months of heavy use and 24 months of light use.

Comments about InfoWars 'Countertop Water Filter System':

We use this on our main tap in the kitchen for our drinking and cooking water. Very convenient in its use and placement by the sink. We had a whole house water filtration system that included reverse osmosis in our home that we own in Colorado however me being active duty and having to move every three years and now renting the house we are in we needed something that was cost effective and efficient and filtered the water properly. Couldn't be more pleased with this filter system.

Use this filter for on the go such as when I'm running late for something. I have a filtered water pitcher also. I spread out my uses between the two filters to make them last longer than just using one all of the time.

This has been some of the best customer service/shipping I have experienced. Easy to order with clear cut product information, up to date tracking/shipping. They really made sure I would receive my product in good shape. Contents were packaged well and the product was easy to install. Lightweight, not clunky in appearance, no complicated parts.
Definite taste difference in water quality. If you use the product a lot as I do, you will need to backwash to clean it (instructions included) after a few months and/or replace the product within maybe a year? Great product/service, Infowars Store.

Comments about InfoWars 'Countertop Water Filter System':

This is an awesome water filter. Our tap water is SO CLOUDY! I got this water filter here almost 4 years ago.... Can you believe it still works?! The water comes out clear every time. It's recommended you change it every 1-2 years or something, so even though it still looking good I'm going to replace mine. I originally got this one instead of Big Berkley because those couldn't be shipped to California. This countertop filter is way worth the money and I saved a ton. ***TIP*** Don't forget to let it run a lot at first to clear it out and get it working good, like just let it run for 20 minutes or something. Don't use hot water through it. I rinse my dishes with this to reduce the hard water build up on my glass.

Must run water for 15 sec before drinking or tastes like plastic. I do not know why. First I thought it was because it is new but after few weeks we still have the same issues. After running the water it tastes OK!
